i want to know what is diference between poa under registartion act and general poa.pls explain
prabhakar singh (Expert) 05 November 2011
A POA creates agency to act on behalf of principal. When it confers all general powers
of activities of the principal then it is named as GENERAL POA but when it confers only any special activity to be performed by the agent then it is called Special POA.

Let it be a General or Special POA,in case it confers powers to sale any immovable property of the principal by the agent, law requires it to be registered.
