The policy framed by KLSU has to be in confirmity with the local (State) government.

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has no legal/constitutional authority to regulate the full spectrum of legal education, independent of the Universities. Under the circumstance instructions of KSLU may be held valid.

Actually the real issue raised was
1. Even after the Karnataka Government has ordered for the cancellation of exams for the intermediate semesters of all UG and PG courses , the KSLU has still scheduled the examinations for intermediate semesters in the month of October.
HC Pradyumna Rao (Querist) 03 August 2020
2. The are two academic calendars of KSLU being circulated of the social media in which the one which is in the English script has the mentioning of the examinations for intermediate semesters whereas the the one in Kannada script doesn't have the mentioning about the examinations.

And as in general view ,there is no clarity for the students studying law in Karnataka regarding whether the examinations are going to happen or not.

Same is the situation in most of the states regarding technical degree exams. Position still not clear, hope for guidelines in coming days.
