Dear Sir,
My client has filed a civil suit against "X". The suit was dismissed against which, we have preferred an appeal, which is pending now. In the mean time, "X" has lodged a false police complaint against my client, concealing the civil proceedings which was pending before the court. A CSR was issued and we have suitably replied at the time of enquiry and produced all the suit documents to the police and thereafter,no further police action was taken.
No, my query is that can I file a private complaint before the magistrate against "X" for giving a false complaint before the police thereby misleading and misusing the police force for personal gains when the matter is pending before the civil court.
Kindly guide me under what provision of law it should be filed and any format for the same?

On give facts i believe u have weak case to file pvt complaint. The facts does not falls under any of the offences of Chapter XI of IPC.
