Procedure for fighting a case in person in high court

(Querist) 22 November 2016 This query is : Resolved
A misc. revision petition is filed in Uttarakhand High Court against order passed by District court by the opposite party which got admitted. Now I am respondent in the said RP and I want to fight the same myself in person. What will be the procedure of the same? I am living in a different city so can I visit High Court on the date of hearing or shall I visit their earlier also for the proceedings of completing the procedure of fighting case in person.

Yes you can appear personally in court.
Ankit (Querist) 24 November 2016
What will be the procedure for same?
Can I directly visit court on the date of hearing ?
Do I need any kind of affidavit/ application / permission for that?
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 24 November 2016
Even if you fight the case in person do take help of an advocate.
From online platform you could not get all your doubts cleared.

Thanks for suggestion, I am having full knowledge of the case and I have already appeared in multiple cases at District Court, ADJ Court and Civil Court and NCDRC, but I came to know that I will need to apply for the same for fighting my case in High Court.

It will be really helpful if I can get an idea about how to proceed and these answers will be a great help to me:
What will be the procedure for same?
Can I directly visit court on the date of hearing ?
Do I need any kind of affidavit/ application / permission for that?
