Prohibited marrage

Guest (Querist) 21 April 2016 This query is : Resolved
Hello,

My younger brother married my father's sister, she is 7 years older than my brother is it a prohibited marriage?
if it is a prohibited marriage, can we deny my brother's rights on my family's ancestral property?please suggest me.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 21 April 2016
It is very much prohibited and hence the marriage is void ab initio.
However this does not relinquish his right of succession in the ancestral property.

Do not try to cash in on his current moral indiscretion.

ok thanks..

I have constructed a house in my village 5 years back, and i have a electrical service connection and bills for the same and i have tax paid bills also for that house and the site registration document also on my name.
can i able to register that house?
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 21 April 2016
Your query not clear.

You say:

site registration document also on my name.
can i able to register that house?

What is the need of registration again.
or
Whether site and house are separate property?

Revert to points raised by Expert Mr. Goyal.

This query as well as other queries raised by you during this week suggests that you are having running battle with your brother and you are taking undue advantage of this forum by posting different queries with selected, and apparently distorted, facts.
