Is the property still in Mortgage? is it released from the mortgage? All the legal heirs of the property can devide the property. however already partition suit is in court, so consult a local lawyer having knowledge in property cases.

Show the mortgage deed to a local lawyer for better appreciation of facts of the case, guide and proceed.
No one can stop for partition.

From your question, it is understood that the property is a co-parcenary one.
They may claim.
However, consult a good lawyer in person along with copies of all documents.
