we are in the process of selling our flat. The purchaser has asked for a copy of Occupation Certificate and P.R. Card. The society itself does not have this I want to point out that our society's conveyance has not yet been done we are now initiating the process to do so... Mostly the copy of property tax bill is given to the members at the time of agreement. Is this going to be a problem for me to sell the flat will the new purchaser be compromised in any way?

without occupation certifcate you would find it diffcult to find buyers for your flat . no bank would sanction any loan for flat if your building does not have OC . similarly you would have problems in registrarion of agreement without OC

You are rightly thinking that without occupation certificate, the buyer shall not be ready to purchase and even if he becomes ready, he has to compromise.
