sir,
i am living in delhi, belongs from a village in himachal pradesh. There is a property dispute that there is a property of my grandfather's older brother who had no children and he and his wife had died. At the time when his wife was dying, who was illiterate, one other brother of my grandfather had made encroachment and taken a written statement on an ordinary paper in presence of gram pradhan and some other two people who are not come in our blood relation. That time We are not there and not aware about that and they get benefit of this.
I want to ask you that what is the authenticity of this written statement and where it stands if we put this dispute in Court.

Any settlement/transfer of immovable property involves compulsory registration. U can move court.
