Dear honorable members
My husband is an army officer and has got illegally married to another woman without divorcing me thus violating Hindu Marriage Act.This is a clear case of Bigamy. He has a child (son) with her and ever since after his 2nd illegal marriage my husband has been staying with her. Me and my daughter stay separately in Punjab.
My husband has rural and urban property in Bilaspur, Dist Rampur, State UP. Out of the total property, 5 cares of agricultural land and a plot in Bilaspur is registered on my name. He is denying to give us the land and plot. Even the original registry is under his possession. Please guide me from where would i get the copies of registration? As far as i know, i can get the duplicate copy of registration from the Patwari of that area. However, apparently my husband is on good terms with the Patwari and there are very high chances that the Patwari denies to hand over the copy of registration to me. Isn't there any other way out? Any other office that could help me? Or is it that i would have to lodge an FIR with the police?
Also if i file a case of Bigamy against him, would I and my daughter be entitled to property on his name?
He had got illegally married in a Gurudwara in Karnal, Haryana. How do i get a copy of his marriage certificate from the Gurudwara to prove him guilty ? Do i need to follow a particular procedure? And is yes then what is that?

You should file a bigamy case against your husband and you have already been advised in your similar query. Refer to posted reply and immediately act upon.

why dont you file case under DV act ?

file a bigamy case against your husband and ask for dv , 125 mtn , and 498 to remove from service if jailed for 4 days , he being in defense and a criminal . You can attach property for ur & daughter mtn.
