Property for minor grandson

(Querist) 27 July 2013 This query is : Resolved
sir if A(ONLY 2 YR OLD) IS A SON OF B.
THE FAMILY PROPERTY NAMED ON GRAND FATHER AND HE WANT TO SELL TO HIS BROTHER.
SIR THERE IS ANY LAW FOR MINOR GRANDSON TO TAKE HIS PART FROM HIS GRAND FATHER PROPERTY.
Nadeem Qureshi (Expert) 27 July 2013
if the property is ancestral then the partition suit can be filed but is the property is self acquired by grand father then nobody can interfere in his right
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 27 July 2013
In the ancestral property grandson has the right from his father. For self acquired property grand father can dispose off at his will.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 27 July 2013
First of all, it is to be known, how that property came to the grand-father of A. If that property was ancestral in the hands of grand-father of A, only in that event, A can raise objection to the alienation otherwise he has no say therein.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 27 July 2013
You have not posted the detailed facts to that effect without which none can provide you definite reply.
Adv Archana Deshmukh (Expert) 27 July 2013
It would depend upon how the property was acquired by the grandfather.
