Sir i had borrowed a property on 2007 from subash and it registered on my name. In 2015 i came to know that the property i borrowed was mortgage by pervious owner to bank nd took a loan of 6lakh and bank declared it as npa. Now bank is issuing notice to me for repayment of loan. Please suggest what should i do in this case???

before purchasing the property, you could have searched property according to the provision of transfer of property act. anyone could sell any property, but the purchaser has to be satisfied that the title is good and free from all encumbrances. now you have to fight to save your property! take help of a lawyer convenient to you
