A legal letter required to examine why a land alloted for constructing 6 chawls. All chawls has property no. And sub code. 1 out of 6 chawls constructed cannot be issued name on property tax.
Whereas all 5 chawls has name of their owners on property tax receipt....

Please consult a local advocate for this purpose. Where is the property situated? By whom the land is allotted and how?

Consulted local advocate he said the t.m.c officials holder this chawl in their session and the name was not transferred when the process turned from manual to online...and this is the case with all 9 tenants..and on receipt it only reads chawl no...and Room no...it has become difficult to all of them...

All 9 tenants shall meet your councillor and appraise the matter and then meet the Mayor/Commissioner of your tmc.

If you have evidences to prove that you are the owner of the chawl and since the other chawl owners have been allotted with the number, you may give a representation to the municipal authorities rand request for allotment of number to your chawl also.
You should not be satisfied by consulting a single advocate who is not able to solve yor problem.
Instead you can approach the authorities concerned in person and get the issues sorted out legally.

Yes! Sir A property number is alloted already in 1992. Exclusively ......I personally paid property tax manually later not residing here.since I did not transferred agreement when father was alive due to some differences with family...now approaching them found all 9 tenants did not stepped ahead currently ofcourse the water connection bill charged separately is on my name...rest all like ration card,aadhar card A release deed and currently acquired electric meter on my name...

If the authorities are not listening to your pleas you may approach court with a suit to declare your title and interest on the basis of documentary evidences in your possession.
