Protest application by father against final report by poilce in 302 case

Dear Sir,
My daughter got murdered by her own husband and informant was his own servant(302 case registered) later servant denied the allegation and police put final report.
I being an aggrieved party can i file a protest application in the court.
is there any ruling by the supreme court.
Please reply ..its urgent

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your reply. Today was the initial hearing . Judge seems to be helping the accused and given an argument that we do not accept the protest application without complainant . also complainant has given the application for acceptance of Final report.
Judge has us to get the order by any court who has accepted the protest application by the family member.
Please help.

In all the police cases, the police is the complainant. The person who gives is having the status of informer (defacto complainant).
You have every right to file a petition to the Magistrate seeking for fresh enquiry. you have to produce the evidences to support your case.
