Dear sir,
I have query regarding to allot PF number of employees. I am working in one of the manufacturing unit in Gujarat as Sr.Executive HR-compensation before joined my port folio had been handled by account person who had not allotted PF number in serial vise i.g.1920 1921,1925,1926,1930 so can i allot 1922,1922,1923,1924,1927,1928,1929 to new employees.....

It shall be better for you to comply with serial no. in future rather filling the gap. You are not responsible for the past working of an employee/incharge of time office.

Are you sure the numbers you have allotted by filling in the blanks have not already been used by the accounts unit, but would have failed to notify the HR unit?
In fact you were required to continue allotment of PF account numbers after the last No. already allotted by the accounts unit. Duplicity of numbers may create problem in proper accounting of PF money. Please recheck the numbers.

Under the EPF Act, The PF department allots a specific code no. to the establishment and employees code is allotted after the establishment in serial wise and contribution of each employee is deposited against said nos

DO not fall in gap. Someone may have left or alloted the blank Nos for fraudulent purpose.
