One year delay. Please see if anyone is delaying the claim expecting you to contact for a bribe. If yes the contact local CBI office immediately without annoying the person.

make an rti application to know that what is the reason for non pymt.
Sample application download from rtiindia.org.

Yes but if it does not make much progress then Writ would be the remedy to get releifs.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 12 January 2012
PF claims are passed within one month of due submission of form correct in all respect. As this is highly delay, you personally enquire as if form may not be lost
Deepak Nair (Expert) 12 January 2012
I agree with the views of Mr.Shailesh.
File an RTI application seeking the reason for delay.

Though as per provisions, claims are to be settled with in 30 days if found in order, however, because of heavy pendency in almost all the offices, specially in Mumbai, Kolkatta and Delhi offices, it is learnt that it takes months together to settle the claims , therefore the remedy available is either to get the grievances redressed through Head Office of EPFO ,ITS WEBSITE, OR BY LEGAL course by filing complaint in the concerned Distt. Consumer Redressal Forum, wherein cases are finalised within 3 months normally.
