Provision of 383 ipc can be attracted?

Sir,
FIL prapres the fake dowry list at the time of filing FIR..oppose Anticpatory bail as wellas Regular Bail application and now place it on court records ...IO recieved nothing from us and completed the investigation
No still admantly asking for alleged articles which he nver gave to us..Now please let me know whether the prosvison of 383(Extortion) can be applicable against him..as he has been thretening to transfer the alleged articles??

If you do not possess the demanded articles, you can very well ask him to proceed legally and challenge the same before court, extortion case will not be maintainable here.
