if you are purchasing property through bank loan bank will do due diligence . however no harm in giving public notice . in case any person has any claim on property he will inform you of his objections to sale of property . better engage a local lawyer before buying any property

You can make such publication but it is not binding upon the party who may have any interest/share in it.

Well advised Mr.Barman.The public notice doesn't make any binding on who genuinely have rights. It is just to satisfy the buyer by himself and would be an additional document filed during litigation as and when arises.

If seller produce all ORIGINAL relevant Documents, [AND IF IN CO -OP SOC, NO OBJ OF SOCIETY] you need not go for Public Notice. Most imp is possession. Otherwise no harm in Publishing (Except cost)
