Publishing a circular in newspaper

(Querist) 14 November 2014 This query is : Resolved
Dear All,

Please let me know the mandatory requirements for publishing a circular in newspaper.

I want to publish that - please don’t lend any money to my father and he is mentally incompetent. In case if anyone still lends money to him then nobody is liable/responsible for that debt.

This is called paper publication and you can do this to any news paper.

However this advertisement does not absolve him from any liability to repay loan if takes loan before or after this.

He doesn’t take loan from bank but take money from moneylenders at heavy interest and provide them signed cheques as a security. We want to stop this anyway. Please suggest some ways and publishing in newspaper won’t help to prevent this in anyway?

what circular you will publish that you are no more liable to any any future debt. That way you acknowledge all the debts taken so far.

Is he mentally incompetent?
Have you got proofs?
By paper publication telling him as mentally incompetent you are publicly defaming him.

If he takes any loan can you be held responsible till you inherit any property from him ?

You have not mentioned why he is taking such loan. Whether as son are you performing your liability by proving him his basic needs.
