Purchasing of agricultural property

(Querist) 02 January 2013 This query is : Resolved 
v are residing in Karnataka state and my husband wants to purchase an agricultural land. can he purchase it. but he is not from agricultural background family. so please tell me whether he can purchase and if yes what are the terms and conditions and rules he has to follow.

He can very well purchase in the given facts and terms and conditions are to be decided with the seller.
