PWDVA Sec 12

Guest (Querist) 21 February 2010 This query is : Resolved
Whether before filing the complaint case under section 12 of PWDVA, is it necessary to approach Protection Officer First?
Or after filing the case the magistrate will derect me to approach PO?
Please tell me how the Domestic Incident Report shall be send to the magistrate?
Whether is it possible for the victim to complain to PO first and collect the DIR personally and then file a case under section 12 of PWDVA annexing the DIR with the petition?

Complaint can be filed to Protection officer or directly in the court. If it is filed in the court , court will call domestic incident report from protection officer.

file a compliant in court before the MM......and the court will grant u relief (interim relief) and will appoint a protection Officer...fill the form/table/chart ...fill as many details as u can and leave the rest .....what u call DIR ....and once the PO is appointed and suppose again some voilance takes place then u need to approach the PO immediately first,....that PO then will again represent the case before the Judge from the next time onwards...but first u have to approach the court...and have to obtainn PO orders as interim orders....
