Are Pyramid Schemes and/ or Multi-Level Marketing Business Models illegal under Indian Law?

What kind of an agreement should be executed in order to protect one's self from criminal action/ proceedings?

MLM is not illegal. If they are violating the terms and not honoring the promises only it is illegal. The modus operandi of the scheme should be legal. Better get the legal opinion before commencing the business.
