A V Vishal (Expert) 14 June 2010
There can be no set time during which the case is to be squashed, much depends upon the circumstances and the contents of the case.

fine getting the situation, It would be good if we have the range in months
say for example 3-6 months
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 14 June 2010
Yes definitely. That apart the section can be put into use even after that. There is nothing called average time in law and it all depends upon the peculiar circumstances of each case.
Prakash Langalia (Expert) 14 June 2010
should be in reasonable time, depends upon fact and circumstances.
G. ARAVINTHAN (Expert) 20 June 2010
No time limit, it is based on the contest by other parties i.e the respondents.

In some cases, the Prosecutors need some "instructions" and that too need some more time
Sukhija (Expert) 25 June 2010
No time limit can be guessed. It is not provided in law.
