Query

Dear Sir,

In recent past I have purchased a house. Registration got completed. I have paid the complete money to the builder. Its an individual house.

But there are few works still pending in the house as per our initial agreement. But the builder is not attending those works.

Could you please guide me how should I approach on this ? Can I do anything legally ?

you can issue legal notice to builder to complete pending works . if he fails to do so move consumer forum for necessary reliefs

Ajay Sir, PS Dhingra Sir,

Shall I send a letter through registered post to him ? Or Shall I approach a lawyer in the first instance itself ?
Guest (Expert) 11 March 2014
First get the legal implications of the agreement checked up by some local lawyer. Get a legally sound notice prepared by him and send through Registered post or speed post.

Agree with the expert PS Dhingra ji, for sending a legally sound notice services of a lawyer should be taken.
