Query regarding civil services

Guest (Querist) 07 April 2014 This query is : Resolved
Sir/ Madam
I was working for a private firm two years back on a contract for 2 yrs.
I had to leave the job in middle due to some personal problems.I gave in my Resignation and paid the bond money but could not pay notice period dues at that time, so the company terminated me.I'm ready to pay the remaining dues to the company but they say that they would not provide me relieving letter .
I wanted to ask that if i'm selected for civil services or any other govt job ,will this termination have a negative effect therein.

NO

Np, it will have no negative effect.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 07 April 2014
No negative effect will be there.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 07 April 2014
If that is the only issue, there wont be any problem for your civil services job or any other job.

Not giving the notice period salary, is not an offense.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 07 April 2014
Agree with the experts, it would not effect your selection.
Vidhi Joshi (Expert) 07 April 2014
there will be no effect on your selection as such but write a formal letter to company that you are willing to pay the amount and take proper acknowledgment for the same for your future records.

Forget about the past with the company.

Termination/dismissal on account of some criminal offence puts bar for Government jobs, not such type of cases of termination on account of non-payment of notice period pay.

agree with experts . it wont affect your prospects
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 07 April 2014
I too agree with the experts that if that is the only reason, it will not affect the future employment prospects with any governmental organisation.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 10 April 2014
Govt as employer is not bothered about the mode of exit from private services as long as no criminal case is pending/proved.
