Query regarding documents in central government job upsc

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 03 December 2018 This query is : Resolved
In all my documents my mother's name is "Archana". I am using my mother's this name for every purpose. so i have never faced any problem regarding that . but in my mother's documents like aadhar card and voter id, her name is "Archna" (one "a" is missing). now if i get a central govt job (UPSC), will they ask for my mother's id card or aadhar etc. during police verification after selection? if yes, then will an affidavit solve my problem?

Both your parents individually shall give Affidavit to that effect and it shall be notarised.

thank you sir,
will a lawyer cum public notary's notarised affidavit suffice?

Pls don’t post as AQ and post with your ID and you can get many responses.
Your ID does not mean your email id or phone number etc and don’t post these.
Before attaching any document erase all names, logo, email id, phone number, address etc to maintain confidentiality.
Obtain proper legal opinion in writing from LOCAL counsel specializing in concerned field of law

Nothing wrong in checking with recruiter.
The affidavit may be accepted.
