Hello,
Two years back my wife went to her parents home to attend her cousin's marriage along with my 1 year old daughter and didn't return back. I called her many times but she didnt receive my calls. I visited her parents house and found that she took admission in a college and doing her pg. I was shocked upon knowing this. Her parents also didnt cooperate. I told her parents to send her back to me but the said that when she doesn't want to go back we cannot ask her to go. She doesn't let me talk to my daughter. Hence i am planning to file divorce.
I want to know that after 2 years of separation can she file a fasle divorce case and a case like 498a.

If you are serious to have your wife back then file a suit for restitution of conjugal rights.
In the same suit you can apply for visitations rights of the child from court.

The author has not replied the question from expert Sudhir Kumar.
Taking any legal step may invite no. of cases from their side.
Try to have amicable settlement, take help of relatives and common friends.
If she is doing PG, it would either be completed or would be completing till next session, wait till then. may call her at regular intervals. Keep talking her parents and try to save marriage.
Legal path should be taken at last stage.
