Respected learned counsel,being an advocate i am appearing for the applicant i.e.wife and the five months have been passed but no order of interim maintenance is granted by the court then on the last date i have moved an application for interim maintenance and application for protection order also and the court has told other side to reply by the giving the verbal direction to husband that do avoid any violence against your wife.so in the next date which is on 12th december 2017 what will be my role on that date should i again stress on interim maintenance or should i make an argument what should i do please hlep me

Next date, he may submit the written objection against your application with a copy to you. Court may grant you a date for argument, court may ask you for argument if you are ready, and court may also proceed further with the case keeping this application pending (unlikely).

What is the main case for maintenance you have filed for consideration by the Court and this platform, wherein you have stated/alleged to have moved for interim maintenance?
How many dates have been passed during last 5 months and what was the proceeding on each date, you have not stated, which can not be presumed/predicted, formed an opinion and advise?
Wait and watch for tomorrow i.e., 12/12/2017 and discuss with a local senior lawyer.
Whether the respondent has filed his reply to the application/complaint?
