Rash answer from fmcg store manager (reliance market)

Dear Sir,
Recently one Reliance Market (A Branch of reliance Fresh) has been started. They are given lot of adds in Local News Papers and Hording stating that " FRIEND FOR WHOLE SALE DEALERS". Their Caption is "YOUR STORE YOUR PROFIT". Entry also restricted for card holders only.
We have valid card and we went to the store along with my wife. Main Door was closed and we have waited for more than 2 hours. Floating of the people are very high. There is no proper arrangements to get in to the store. All the vehicles and public has to go inside only in one way. Due to heavy crowd our 2 wheeler was felt down and some damages to my vehicles and scratches to my wife too....
The store manager has given a worst reply. he said that why should u come into the store. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DAMAGES and also police people scolded we will put u in jail if u talk some more against Reliance Market. And also The Manager is damaged himself in his hand using his nail and reversely he is saying we will put attempt to murder case against you if you putted case against us in consumer court.
My some points
1. There is no notice board for separate parking or no parking inside the premises.
2. All the consumers are waiting out side main gate as beggars when they open the gate rush is too since main door is opening once in either in one hour or two hours.
3. Lot of space in available in side the premises rather than stopping the people out side the main gate.
4. there is no water supply for waiting consumers out side the main gate.
My humble request is how can we save our consumer rights.

1) address a letter by registered post to President RElaince market . mention about the incident wherein you had to wait for over 2 hours . offer your suggestions for better management .
2) also send a letter to Commissioner Police mentioning about the traffic snarls caused by hundreds of people waiting outside the main door of Reliance Fresh
. request them to make adeqaute police arrangement by deputing traffic constables near the outlet

That arrangements has to be made by the management. Consumers are suffering from the attitude of the Store management. We are asking for the consumer rights

Dear Praveen,
A pertinent question arises, if you have to wait for two hours only for getting entry in to the premises, what is the compulsion for you to shop only at reliance fresh. I don't think no other market is available in your town?
However, about your points:
1) Unless there is any notice board for separate parking, for different type of vehicles, or some security personnel does not guide the parking can be treated as common.
2) Why the customers prefer to go their where they are likely get beggar-like treatment. Self respect matters much. If they don't care for self respect, let them suffer.
3) Private premises cannot be used as a thoroughfare. Public has to adhere to the norms or timings fixed for visit.
4) Outside the premises, the organisation is not supposed to serve any person, may he be its customer or client.
However, if service is defective for the products, only then a case for consumer forum would justify. You may discard such organisation, if it tends to neglect you as its customer.

as pointed out by Dhingraji no one is forcing you to shop at Reliance Fresh . as a consumer if you feel the waiting period is too long and no arrangements are made for parking , staff is rude you have an option . refuse to shop at Reliance fresh .
you can if you dont have better alternative adopt a constructive approach and write to management poining out your grievances . i am sure management will oblige . every outlet needs customers

You don't have any consumer right outside the premises of the organisation or in the absence of any defect in service or products within the premises. Parking service cannot be treated as manadatory service on their part, except as provided in the Government's approval plan for the private market.

its a new store to our town and the offers in the store you may not get outside.
There is no possible for me to come back, when we went there is no crowd after that people came like any thing then not possible to come back our bike was st-rucked in the people and bike felt down

Premises cannot be considered to be so jammed, as you have stated. That may be due to some specific offer or special occasion on a particular day.

in future when you go shopping go at odd hours if possible so that you can avoid the crowd .

Mr. Praveen,
Big companies do take care of the legal provisions and also have the experts on their rolls how to reap maximum advantage of law for themselves. Big companies' main aim is profit making only, may be by exploiting the customers. It is for the customer to see and decide how and whether he can get any advantage from the company's functiong style or not.They don't work for the general public, they work only for themselves or their shareholders.

Better way is to discard shopping from such place in future, go on writing to the highups of the company. A business house with such attitude may not survive long and if more complaints against store manager , he may be sent out of the organization.
