(Querist) 07 May 2011 This query is : Resolved
sir my appeal of FAO in MACT case of my deceased father was admitted by High Court on 05.05.2011 .
My querry is shld i feel the case is gone in vain or how much time it will get to come on for hearing.

Parveen Kr. Aggarwal (Expert) 07 May 2011
The admission of appeal by High Court means that the High Court has found prima facie that the case is having points for consideration and therefore, instead of dismissing the appeal, it has been admitted for hearing. The case has not gone in vain. It will depend on the number of pending cases and availability of judges to decide how much time it will take in hearing of the matter.
Sachin Bhatia (Expert) 13 May 2011
If the case is admitted by High Court it means the case has not gone in vain. There is no fixed period pescribed by law to decide the case.
