receiving cash after closing the account

Respected Lawyers,
my salary account in a private bank has been closed by the bank itself in the pretext of a
false reason.if after that they receive cash
in the closed account-under which law they are chargeable?criminal/civil or civil law?
please advice.

Please seek details of reasons for closure of your salary account from the Bank. They are legally bound to furnish. Then apprise the facts in this forum for our opinion.

To give an opinion on this querry, primarily it should be known why the account has been closed. And whether the ground on which the account was closed had been informed to you.

Whatever be the reasons behind such closure of the account, you have got every right to claim the money lying in that account and for redressal you can also lodge complaint to the Consumer Forum.

Bank has also got every right to close any customer's account duly governed by the guidelines of the Regulatory Authorities if the account satisfies the conditions assigned to undesirable or unremunerative nature
