Civil liability (shop rent) cannot be imposed on Legal heir. its possible to get citation on this particular incident plz help me

Any liability is personal.So is the liability to pay rent unless one claims the right to have possession is devolved upon legal heir.
The rule of pious obligation is a good by rule now.
Those who seek citations for every thing are people wanting to en-cash 8 squires in a rupee,i advise them to labor on their own.
The simple funda here in your query is this that if legal heir(s) are not claiming any interest in lease by devolution,they are not liable,per contra,if they are claiming ,they are .
