My wife purchased a residential plot from a lady who got that property by a gift deed given by her brother. Both the seller and my wife died.
After careful examination, we noticed that plot number is missed in main deed executed by her, but the link deed contains plot number.
All the other details such as survey numver
All the other details such as survey number, door number, assessnebt number, boundaries are sane in both the documents.
Now what is the procedure to include the plot number by a rectification deed.

Rectification is not possible in your given fact as the buyer and seller both are heavenly abode. prepare a declaration on your given fact stated about such missing number and other alienated fact which are necessary to constitute proper schedule of the property and registered the same with your concerned Registry Office and relive from your any short of hurdle. thanks, ashok kumar singh, advocate.

The legal heirs of the seller can execute a registered rectification deed in favor of the legal heirs of the deceased buyer.
You can go for an alternative mode for getting the fault rectified only after exhausting the legal remedy that is available before you.

Yes. The legal heirs of the seller/transferor shall execute the rectification deed in favour of the buyer. Otherwise, you go legally.

Sorry, if the property is situated in Andhra Pradesh if the whereabouts of the seller or his legal heirs are not known, the buyer shall state that the whereabouts of the seller/his/her legal heirs are not known, and the buyer is responsible for legal by giving a notarized affidavit can execute the sale deed at the time of sale deed.
