Rectification deed to correct named road to plot

(Querist) 21 March 2018 This query is : Resolved
DEAR SIR/MADAM,
PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT I AM GOING TO SELL MY PLOT IN MUNICIPAL LAYOUT. WHICH IS THE END PLOT OF THE LAYOUT. ON THE LINK DOCUMENT IT IS WRITTEN ROAD ON ITS WEST SIDE SO ARE OTHER TWO PURCHASE DOCUMENTS. NOW THE NEW 4th BUYER WANTS TO "OTHER'S PLOT" TO BE WRITTEN ON THE WEST SIDE THROUGH A RECTIFICATION DEED.
DO I REQUIRE MUNICIPAL LAY OUT PLAN OR OTHER GOVT. DOCUMENTS TO CONFIRM THAT REALLY THERE IS "OTHERS PLOT" ON WEST SIDE OF MY PLOT OR NOT.
CAN I GO FOR CORRECTION DEED WITHOUT ANY PROOF OF DOCUMENTS TO CHANGE ROAD TO OTHERS PLOT ON WEST SIDE OF MY PLOT?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW,
FOR THE RECTIFICATION DEED DO I REQUIRE THE TWO OTHER PREVIOUS OWNERS OF THIS PLOT TO COME TO REGISTER'S OFFICE FOR SIGNATURES? AS TOLD TO ME BY THE DOCUMENT WRITER?
THANKING YOU
REGARDS

Yes. you have to prove that the boundary is wrongly noted as xxxxxxxx instead of xxxxxxx as per approved plan (if necessary obtain a certificate from the Municipal Surveyor). it requires two other previous owners i.e. original owner to purchaser, now that purchaser becomes vendor, his vendee like that each one has to execute rectification deed one by one.
