Rectification of Surname in 10th memo

Hi all, My name is Bhagya. I passed my tenth in the year 1999 and in the tenth certificate my surname was miss printed as Dasri instead of Dasari. Now i want to rectify my surname. Please help me out.

Get this pubilshed in news paper. Send the cutting with application supported by affidevit to concerned board.

No it is not the correct method. You cannot get your name corrected in your tenth marks card. You need to write a representation to the tenth board, issue a legal notice if name is not corrected and then file a suit in a civil court making the board, secretary to government as parties.
