1 Recently our case is solved in lok adalat, what is the procedure to redeem money paid to put case in court as case is now solved in lok adalat. One of the rules of lok Adalat is that if case is solved in lok adalat we get back the money paid to civil court. 2 Once our case was dismissed and we paid 10000 to revive this case few months back, can we redeem this amount also

You can get back part of the court fees, but not the costs imposed. Your lawyer is the best guide.

Our lawyer said, it is a big process you better leave that. So we are interested to know the procedure so that we can follow and get our part of court fees. Furthernore, we have three court cases solved in lok adalat.

If you have lost your faith in your lawyer engage another local prudent lawyer.
Apply to your area SDM along with a certificate issued by concerned LOK ADALAT , which has settled your case and relevant documents.
Procedure for refund of Court Fees for the case(s) settled u/s 89 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 read with Section 16 of the Court Fees Act has few steps which can be taught by a coaching centre//tutor/institute/law college/University.

if your court fee refund is more than Rs 5000/- you should take pain otherwise better to forego.

The amount to be refunded is 20,000. We are from Secunderabad, Hyderabad. Are anyone in this group from Hyderabad so that we can engage any lawyer from this community for the process of refund of money. Our case has been resolved in lok Adalat. What is the time gap within which we should apply for refund to SDM.

Is there any fixed time period beyond which we will court case paid fees will not be refunded from the date of award of decree in lok adalat
