Refund of rental rental deposit towards rental agreement

VERY GOOD DAY TO THE HON'BLE LAWYERS. my client has entered into a rental agreement paid a deposit of rs.60,000 she has vacated for the past 3 years, the landlord has not refunded the deposit even after sending a legal notice can i file a case in consumer form if not where pl. advice.

You have to file a suit for recovery of money paid as advance to landlord in civil court.

The amount of the refund can be claimed within 3 years of last confirmation of the dues/debt/deposit by the opposite party hence file a civil suit for recovery accordingly.

GOOD DAY THE MOST HON'BLE LEARNED LAWYERS I FILED A PCR CASE, LOOKING TO THE DEVELOPMENTS I FEEL THE CASE WOULD BE DISMISSED, IF SO CAN I GOD IN FOR AN APPEAL TO THE NEXT HIGHER COURT AS THERE ARE VERY STRONG MERITS IN THE CASE
