reg basic pay fixation

SIR

I AM WORKING IN A AUTONOMOUS ORGANIZATION SINCE LAST TEN YEARS IN THE PAY SCALE OF 4000-100-6000 AND THEN IN THE GRADE PAY OF 2400 WITH BASIC PAY 9890 ACCORDING TO 6CPC RECOMMENDATIONS.

NOW I AM SELECTED IN POST OF ASSISTANT PROGRAMMER IN PB2 9300-34800 GRADE PAY 4600 IN THE SAME DEPARTMENT WHICH IS EQUIVALENT TO 600 (PRE-REVISED SCALE). THE DEPARTMENT WRONGLY FIXED MY BASIC PAY 10260. I HAVE A CONFUSION THAT ACCORDING TO FITMENT TABLE THE MINIMUM BASIC AGAINST 6500 IS 12090 BUT I HAVE NOT ANY RULE POSITION ABOUT THIS. PLS TELL ME WHAT I'LL DO AND PLS TELL ME THE RULE REFERENCE ALSO.

Can you indicate the basis for your own calculation of fixation of pay according to which it comes to Rs. 12,090/- instead of Rs.10260?

yes
according to fitment table the minimum initial pay for pre-revised 6500 scale is 12090

Yes. You just sent a representation to concern authority about the wrong fixation.. If there is no effect mean just file a writ of mandamus to direct the concern authority to fix a fair basic pay..
