Reg cheque

Dear Attorney,

I have taken a hand loan on feb 2012 of 50000 and given a DPN note and 2 blank cheques to the lender as security And i am paying regular interest rates, and one april 2012 he said that he has misplaced 1 cheque and asked a new cheque so i made a stop payment for that check and gave him a new cheque and now he claims that he is having my 2 cheques value for 50000 each and one DPN note for 50000, now he is asking me to pay 20000 total and sending other persons to my house and making disturbance as he is a govt employee he is not coming sending some other persons for recovery and they are forcing me to make a settlement for 1 lakh , if not they
are telling me that they will file a 420 case , please tell me sir what to do

Do you have any written agreement regarding amount of loan? If yes then nothing to worry.
If no then also there is not much to worry.

Since he is a govt. servant, do lodge complaint in the local police regarding blackmailing and criminal intimidation.
If FIR is registered he will be in more trouble than you.

i do agree with expert. you can lodge a complaint against him for blackmailing and criminal intimation as suggested by sri Barman

Did you obtain receipt for replacement of lost cheque?
It is a case of blackmailing and criminal intimidation, I fully agree with the experts, now it is your turn to proceed as advised.
