Sir,
i am a Gr.B gazetted officer ,met with accident on duty. kindly advise me about quarries on on duty accident benefits:
1.employer's liability reg. Accident report and compensation to employee. 2. Requirement of medical board's fitness test for Sanction of special leave/special disability leave.3. Reimbursement of medical bills for OPD treatment at private hospital.4. complaint of Harassment by office with unnecessary procedures and rules is made by injured employee .

1. Employer has to compensate the employee in the given circumstances after loding the due report of accident.
2. Such certificate is required to assess not only the amount of compensation but also for the leave.
3. Yes.
4. Keeping in view the mental, physical and economical condition of injured employee, such allegations should be got ignoned.

2. Medical board's fitness certificate is required for Sanction of special leave/special disability leave and sanction of bills.
3. Reimbursement of medical bills for OPD treatment at private hospital are reimbursable.
4. Agree with the expert that such complaint should be ignored.

It is not clear whether the accident was a normal one in the course of performance of duty. In public service, there is no provision for compensation.
In any case the queriest is entitled for leave on medical grounds and reimbursement of medical expenses.
Given the procedures in public service, some hassles are inescapable. Learn to take in the stride.
