Hi Experts,
I am representing myself in the court for my voidable of marriage case filed by my wife. Now its in petitioner's evidence stage. Is there anyway for me to request honourable judge for allowing my wife's mother to cross examine. If so, what kind of procedure i have to follow. I wanted to extract the truth and submit to the judge.
Please do the needful.

You can, if she is a witness from your wife'side. Even otherwise, you can examine (not cross examine) her as a witness from your side. However, this would be too risky.

It is obvious mother will depose to favour her daughter (your wife)and it is your right to cross-examine her. Cross-examining a witness is an art to extract truth, consult a local prudent lawyer, I may not be able to help you.

If she has not been listed as witness from your wife side, you, as a respondent can rope her in as defence witness and can examine her
