I have applied for some documents under RTI on 31st March, 2014 but till date I have not received any intimation. Hence when I can file appeal under RTI ?

first you verify sending address then try to send next time, you can wait near about a month.

Dear Querist
wait till 30 Days from the date of receipt of your application if the information has not provided by the department then you can file appeal not before that.

Public information officer and the first appellate authority are designated within the same office.Since 30 days is over,you can file the appeal to the first appellate authority now.

You have to wait for 30 days after the receipt of your application by the PIO.

Thereafter if you dont receive any reply, you can file the 1st appeal.
