Regarding divorce and maintenance

Sir,
I am working in a reputed MNC company. One year ago i got married according to hindu tradition. After one month of marriage she left my home by saying that she didnt want to live with my family and file a divorce case against me and my family. No she is asking for maintenance amount and on the other hand she also wants to come back to me. But we dont want to take her back because of life threat. Therefore i am lookinf for a divorce considering the fact that she doesnt want to. Please suggest the way out so that i can plea for divorce by paying a marginal maintenance amount. Plz reply.

Offering of maintenance does not entitle you to get divorce unless the wife agrees to it.
So either she agrees for mutual divorce or you file contested suit for divorce.
Either of the two is only option left.

Discuss the issue(s) with your wife, reconcile the differences, make her feel comfortable, satisfied and happy, bestow all love and affection and enjoy married life.

From the facts disclosed, the only option is MCD on mutually agreed terms unless, of course, marriage could not be saved.

Try to have amicable settlement. Try to save marriage.
If not possible, try for mutual consent divorce. Contested divorce may take 3-5 years. If she is not employed, you may have to pay maintenance.

Marriage is not 20-20 over match. In one month, she left you. Now she has realised her mistake and wants to come back. Accept her with open arms and showers all your love and affection. She will withdrew her cases. Marriage means compromise and making other person's wishes fulfilled as a prime duty.
