Regarding dv case and divorce case of a friend

hello sir,
i have a friend xyz whose dv case and a divorce case are going on simultaneously.reason being adultery committed by her husband.her in laws too r supporting their son.she has a minor daughter age 5yrs.these cases were filed in the yr 2011 november month.as evidences she has 5 pornographic video clips of her husband and the said lady.husband and in laws were aware of the proofs she had and so the torture worsened where unfortunately she had no option left but to do an FIR. police complaint was done after the series of counselling done at the womens security cell,commissioner office,pune.she is in no mood to settle down the matter out of court.the settlement value offered by the respondents is not respectable and justifiable.her cross will start soon. i wanted to know what is the prognosis of such cases.she had to pack her 7rys of medical practice too because her husband and in laws constantly kept her harrassing at her work place.they wanted her to agree for a mutual divorce without alimony for her and her daughter.what kind of approximate punishment is likely to take place in such cases?

Let the case proceed for trial. if for this reason she has suffered her medical practice then she can claim for regular maintenance and damages by way of PWDV Act.

Demand of maintenance might have been raised by your friend in her DV Case. So let it be decided accordingly.
So far as criminal case is concerned, your friend shall have to be well prepared to face her cross-examination. The facts of her evidence in chief are to be proved by her beyond reasonable doubts so be in close contact with her lawyer.
