As this is self acquired property of your father, none has any claim against it and your father can dispose off it in the manner he likes including the situation you told in your query.

If your father has acquired the said property by paying from his own earnings then he can do whatever he wants with the property & no body shall have any claim on it during his lifetime.

The property being the self acquired of your father, he is at liberty to bequeath or gift it to anyone he so desires. You have no right in law to restrain him from disposing this property according to his wish.
