Regarding pagadi system

Dear Sir,

Currently m staying in mumbai. My building is 60 years old. We have stay there since my grand father. My house rent slip on the name of my father who died 5 years ago. I have some queries like :
1) If my building goes for re development so can i get ownership
2) What is the minimum are i can get as per law. (My current house is 240 sq.ft.) and if i have to purchase more area then what i have to do ?
3) If corporation puts Dangerous board on the building then what i can do ?
4) House rent slip on my fathers name. If cant transfer to my name, it will effect me in future ?

your father's right continues to be vested with the legal heirs.

Your grandfather was a tenant which was succeeded by your father, isn't it ?
If so, a tenant shall always remain tenant but not owner.
It is better to seek professional services of a local prudent lawyer for proper advise and necessary proceeding.
