Regarding pension

Hi sir/madam,

My uncle was working in a central govt job and he passed away couple of years back. He has two wives. Will second wife get pension?

Not admissible to 2nd wife.

Only wedded wife is eligible for pension and not admissible to 2nd wife. if the 2nd wife is also a wedded wife due to illhealth of 1st wife, and the fact is recorded in his service, in that circumstances both wifes will get equal pension.

2nd wife is not recognised. Pleas indicate who is nominated by your uncle for pension / gratuiry/ PF/ Gp Ins.

Generally such people nominate second wife only.
