This query is : Resolved
Respected Members,
I had joined a psb bank three yrs ago presently working there as an officer. At the time of giving competitive exams i used my full name sign nd got selected in bank with my full name sign. But after getting selected i used my initials letters of my name as my sign on all vouchers and also while recommending some loans. As per the rules of bank a gbp no of sign is being allocated to every officer after completion of 2 yes,nd at present no such gbp no is allocated to me and at presently i m using my intials as my sign.
So is it correct for me or it can pose problem for me.
Pls it's request to all the members to give their advice reg this.
Thanking You.

It is not a legal query.
It is upto the bank to allow you to use your initials or not.
You ought to follow the rules of the bank.

You can not deny your liability on the documents on which you have signed even if your style of signatures is different.
Have you sent your signatures(it may be different to those you done on recruitment papers) for internal circulation in your Bank and allotment of specific signature no (gbp no of sign)?
If yes, it is in your interest always to sign all document in Bank in the same style, it may save you from many troubles.

Please specify intention in dual signature while being banker. This should be a sufficient ground for the bank to throw you out.
