Dear Sirs,
I have entered into an agreement of sale for selling my ancestral agricultural property. I have three married sisters and two married daughters. I want to get a Special Power of Attorney deed so that my sisters and daughters do not have to come to the registrar's office. Is it necessary to get this deed registered. thanks.

Yes such a deed has to be registered with the sub registrar of place where property is situated.

I slightly differ with the above advice. Such registered GPA if registered within that particular State before any of the registrar is duly valid for the purpose of registration of sale-deed.
