my friend has want to register his fathers mother will how it register and what law applicable in maharastra. is there central law applicable?. plz give detailed solution

a will need not compulsorily be regd.
an un regd. will bequeathes the same property rights as a regd.will.

take testator who wants to make the will to the sub registrar office where the will is regd.(sro).
if the testator is too old or ill to visit the sro in person ,either sro may be requested to come to testator ,or any authorised person can take the will to sro for regn.of the will.
