What is the document involved in the query ?
What is the transaction where it is to be proved with title or any other issue ?
Disclose full facts of the case.
It would be appropriate to seek professional consultancy from a local prudent lawyer with relevant document for analyses, guidance and proceeding (if any).
Vague question makes the query as if it is an academic topic for debate.

But the registar is asking for original deed
kavksatyanarayana (Expert) 09 December 2018
The Registrar will never ask the original deed and he may be postponing to give you. You have to mention the date of the document or number and property details/party's details, in the application with necessary fee, he shall give you copy of the document. But for issue of CC, a maximum time is one week. or you can apply through on-line or any E-Seva services.

Here you have to observe two things. (1) If you want to sell the property, the Purchaser will definitely ask the original document ( herein after called "Link Document") now which is in the possession of your uncle's brother. . (2) There should be some thing in the minds of your uncle's brother, in not giving the original copy to you. So be careful in this regard.
